Digital Harbor welcomes a new history teacher name Ms. Davis-Featherstone.
Ms. Davis-Featherstone is from Brooklyn, New York. She like the motto of the school and that the school is centered around technology and building careers. She also isn’t new to dealing with students before coming to Digital Harbor she taught at a charter school teaching 8th grade history. And she isn’t no stranger to helping people because she also was a case manager for a homeless shelter. She has been enjoying her time at Digital & she has a lot of bright students in her class. She feels as though her & her students have started build a relationship with one another. “My first day was interesting because all of the kids thought I was mean & some still thinks that she is but they like & respect. I’m not mean I just care about my students a lot. Yes, I’m strict on them because I want them to know that when they graduate high school that they are going to be competing with other graduates from Baltimore city & in the country. And you have to be competitive like what’s going to set you aside from the next candidate, what are you doing different? So yes I’m strict & I push them to their full potential.”
Freshman Chelsey Gregg likes Ms. Featherstone-Davis a lot because she is a nice & kind person. Ms. Featherstone takes her time with the students & is very patient with us. Chelsey describes Ms. Featherstone as intelligent, funny, easy going & she can be hard on you if she feels like you need a extra push. “ The class is fun if you pay attention it’s not hard at all. It’s easy to get a high grade in this class if you willing to put in the work.”
