Few people at Digital Harbor High School thought that the Rams would be able compete with other schools for a city’s championship. But the Rams are on a winning streak of 6-1. This is probably the best year the Rams have had in the last 4 years. There are a lot of the seniors that are stepping up so they can leave Digital Harbor with a good memory.
Coach Pops is very impressed with his football team this year. Pops said “He likes the new football team. All the kids are into the program. The Digital Harbor Rams are trying to go from becoming a team into a program. The teams start in the offseason by attacking very aggressive by getting in shape & it’s paying off on the field. The seniors are having a lot of leadership with this team.”
This year the Digital Harbor Rams feels as though they go all the way because they have a lot of key players that can make plays on & off the field. The quarterback Dequantae Rhymer says “He feels good because they on a winning streak. Our record is 6-1 only team we lost to was city. We’ve been working hard since February in the weight room working out, getting in shape.” This year the Digital Harbor Rams feels as though they go all the way because they have a lot of key players that can make plays on & off the field.
Donte Shell is another player on the Digital Harbor Rams. He also is very confident in the football team. “We made a lot of progress, came a long way & we really took the time to dedicate ourselves to the team this year. We have the potential to go to states. All the seniors are giving the juniors a positive message that this school can know for more sports other than track and basketball.
Ellis Winston is a one of the captains one the football team. Even tho he cannot play football he motivates the team so they can go out there & win games. “Football team is good, we plan on being 9-1 when the season is over. Go to the playoffs & win states so we can have a banner up with 2014. Seniors are doing well but we have a “super senior Tim Tim” he always come through & make good plays for the team.
